Family Married to Bill for 34 years.
I had two sons. My oldest son lives in Louisiana and his wife brought two wonderful children into the marriage and then had Bryan (affectionately known as BTT or Bryan the Terrible).

The oldest grandson is a Sophomore at LSU and our granddaughter is at Midwestern Louisiana State University on a Cheerleading scholarship. They have brought so much joy into our family.

BTT is just 10 and the spitting image of my younger son, Bryan, who was killed when he was 17. The only difference between them is that BTT has green eyes. I call BTT my apology from God for taking my son Bryan.

Bill's daughter gave us a new granddaughter, Hannah, four years ago. She is an absolute joy. I've shared her adventures on the QMB too.
    Are you a Mother? Yes

    I'm a happy camper!

    Saturday, January 5, 2008, 9:31 PM [General]

I really am a happy camper!  I'm getting the hang of the QMB2 and am finding that a lot of my friends are too.  I've joined a few groups and that's kinda fun too.

I'm now an Official NPB too.  Isn't that a hoot?

And I'm going to be able to meet so many of my QMB and QMB2 friends in Wichita Falls.  Some of my crazy friends (the Zoomerville Zanies) are coming to stay with me the week before and I'm going to introduce them to Texas.  I can't wait.  I am beyond excited.  Who would have thought that I would have the very bestest friends from all over.  Our paths never would have crossed without the QMB and the RHS and now I can't imagine my life without them.  What a blessing the RHS has been in my life.

The Texas Red Hatters that I have met through the Regional Convergences and other events have been an absolute delight.  What crazy fun ladies.  Who else but a Red Hatter would wipe horse poop off your booty in the middle of Main Street, Fort Worth?  Gotta learn to look before I sit, dontchaknow.  BTW, it was SandyTx.

Who else but Texas Red Hatters would get together and go to meet a Red Hatter here from Las Vegas to offer encouragement and love when her son was in a horrible accident.  Those were my friends, Whoop, Ms. Em, SenioRita and Lady Laughs-A-Lot.

We all came together when Bloomer had her stroke and we have come together for our other sisters when they needed us.  We offer advice, shoulders to cry on, friends to celebrate with, silliness and nonsense, and prayers when needed (thank you, Jet).  Sometimes we fuss around with each other, but usually that doesn't last long.

I would take umpteen pages to tell of all the wonderful things that I have seen and experienced as a Red Hatter.  So, I'll just sum it up again and say I'm a happy camper.

I've said it before.  Whoop provided my training wheels and now I have sprouted wings and I am flying high with the RHS and loving every minute of it.

    Hugs and lotsa love,

    Zoom
