About Me I am a retired activities director for a seniors apartment complex. Best job I was ever PAID for!

Interests I love almost all of the crafts. Going out to eat! Seeing a good movie! Talking with friends.

Hobbies Caligraphy, Cross Stitch, Tole Painting, Sewing, Crocheting, Photography, Beading,Wood Working, Flower Arranging,just about any craft going!

Music Irish, Celtic, Christmas, Country. But not in that order!

Movies I like movies that entertain! I don't want to have to think about them, I don't want to be scared, and I definately don't want to be grossed out!

TV I like "House" and "Bones". I like "Cops" and shows like that.

Books I like all of the "Chicken Soup" books that I have read. I also like inspirational books.

Likes The four seasons we have here in beautiful Michigan.
The sound a small child makes when they laugh.
Older peoples hands.
Soft kisses.
Having my family and friends all around me.
Green Lights, Soft breezes, the smell of clean clothes.

Dislikes Anyone who fights. Anyone who has an argument in a public place. Pushy people. People who can not or will not tell the truth.

Vices Desserts, Sweets of any kind. And I sometimes overspend for my crafts.

Virtues I am mostly organized. I try to speak kindly of everyone. I am a good listener. I like myself, and can spend a lot of time by myself.

Family I have a wonderful husband of 42 years in March 2008, whose name is Kenton. I also have a really great son, named Daniel, who is 32 years old.

Pet(s) My son had a chocolate cocker spaniel named "Resses", when she had puppies, I took two of them because they seemed to ALWAY be together. I named them "Snickerdoodles" and "Pilot-Puppy". Sadly, Pilot died three years ago. But, Snickers (as we call her) is still with us.

Happy November Everyone! Well, this makes it official, when the radio stations start to play Christmas music. There never seems to be enough time to do everything I'd like to do anymore! Guess I'm getting too old for this kind of stuff!

I can't hardly stand it!!! Only 4 more days to Glam on the Grand! It seems like all I've been doing lately is trying to get clothes to look O.K. on me! I've got my packing list printed out, and I'm starting to put things into my Red Hat Bags. I really didn't think I'd be able to get to an Official Red Hat Society Regional Convention! Ever, in my lifetime! And here it is only 4 more days to go. I hope to meet and make all kinds of new friends while I'm there.
