The fall weather is starting. the Toronto Trotters concentrate on visiting places with patios along Lake Ontario . We went to Waterside Bistro three times and Radisson Admiral Hotel once - that was lovely. We had planned on going to Cabana but Kay visited there and reported that it wasn't really suitable for our Chapter.I'd like to try the Keating Channel Pub next summer.

We have a couple of new members and one resigned. Anyway, we're back at our maximum of 15 members.

We had a good time. The total was 10, including 1 visitor who now wants to become a Member. I'm sure she'll be accepted. That will mean that our Membership is closed again as we'll hit our maximum of 15. I spoke to our Member who is battling cancer and she sounded good although she said the day before wasn't so good. She has good days and bad days.

We held our first raffle at this lunch. Peggy was the final winner of a colourful tote-beach bag.

Next month (April 8) we go to DW Pasta & Grill on Finch West near Alness. Kay, Vice Queen, is Acting Queen Mother for April and has been to this resturant before and reports it's very nice and the prices are very reasonable. That sounds good.
