I'm totally stuck for talk of events at this time except bad news from other people.
We had a mild spell for awhile but winter is upon us again.
I finally thought the time was now or never and planted an arbitrary number of genuine, old-fashioned catnip seeds under a glass dome and placed it on the diningroom table. You see, my Xrissy is so fussy she won't eat the magnificently large hybrid catnip bush made by crossbreeding Catnip with Lamb's Quarters. Xrissy won't eat the hybrid and the tea made with it doesn't taste the same. The cat's the final authority on this.
The other night I had a dream about Xrissy's mother, Mama Kitty who is a polydactyl Tabby. She came running over to say good-by with dainty paws after a paw reduction saying she had a new career now. She was wearing a pressed organdie waitress cap and apron with lace edging as in days of yore. Her fur was all powdered and she came to thank me for the short time I had let her live at my place and have her three kittens. In a moment, she had her cap and apron off and was rolling on the carpet saying, "This is home." Xrissy was standing between us to my right expressing amazement at her transformation and behaviour. After all, Mama Kitty had always set an example for her kittens.
That was indeed my dream. Who was leaving though? Me? Mama Kitty? or, had Archie gone on home to Heaven for good? God bless.
