    About Me I am a wife (of 1), mother (of 2) and Nana (of 3). I am Aleut wwhich is an Alaskan Native. I've been transplanted to Oklahoma but Alaska will always be home. I had lap-band surgery in March 2009 and have lost over 90 pounds so far. My 17 year old son is developmentaly delayed so I have always been a SAHM. This coming June (2010) my daughter and her family are going to move in with us (temporarily). That will mean 8 of us under one roof...in a 3 bedroom home. We are working out all the details in advance to avoid as many pitfalls as possible.
    Interests I love my Red Hatting experiences. I am a relatively new Queen and member and I have met some great women who love to have fun (and eat).
    Hobbies Counted cross-stitch, crochet, scrapbooking, quilting, macrame and whatever new comes available. Reading and Red Hatting.

    Funeral for sister Red Hatter in Tulsa, OK March 25th

    I apologize for the lateness in posting but I just found out about Mary's passing this morning.  Mary is a member of another chapter but a sister just the same.  Her last wishes were to have as many Red Hat sisters, in all their Red Hat finery, present at her funeral as a celebration of her sisterhood.  The services will be held at 11:00 a.m. in downtown Tulsa, 9897 E 11th, the God's Shining Light Church.  I don't know Mary's last name, nor her chapter name, but I'll be there...proud to be her sister.  Won't you join us if you live nearby?
