Here's another granddaughter story.
My three year old granddaughter has been disconcerted since her visit to Santa two weeks ago. She forgot to tell him, she wanted a Dollhouse and a few other things. Since then she has been asking to return to the mall. I would rather pull my hair out by the roots than go there.
So last evening, she asked to talk to Santa again. A plan was devised. Thank goodness for cell phones. I called Santa from the house phone and dialed my better half's cell line. In a hefty, well disguised voice, he responded with a big "ho ho ho", while hidden in the bedroom closet.
It was such a cute conversation. On and On it went, until Santa finally had to say he needed to return to making toys for other children. When the conversation ended, my granddaughter was thrilled. She had revised her list and all is well.
Then we went into the family room and updated our Christmas calendar by opening another door , removing a snowflake and placing it on the alloted space on the calendar. Another day closer to Christmas.

What a darling way to "play Santa" and put her little mind at ease........ as well as you not having to pull your hair out! LOL Merry CHRISTmas to you too! Di
