Well, I did it. Yes, I put my feet in the mud and they got dirty.
I commented on the use of copyrighted graphics without permission from the artist. Somehow I am now in the WRONG and not the copyright abuser. It's such text book dysfunction, I could just scream.
Sadly, making a post on the SUBJECT of abusing copyrights was not well received. The abuser was lauded and patted on the head with a big "there there, you poor thing". Are you nauseous yet; I am.
The originator of the topic at hand, was also attacked for making the facts known about the abuser. She posted her comments only once. I made the mistake of posting several times to explain and re-iterate my opinion and the facts, as I knew them spanning over two years. Yes, the abuser used copyrighted graphics for over two years; all the time KNOWING she was using graphics of a well-known American artist. How I am so sure she knew the graphics were copyrighted? Well, she was informed by private email by the originator of the now posted thread. The abuser disregarded the email and continued in her behavior. Then the abuser proceeded to make graphics for others, all the while taking credit for artwork by a well known artist. The conduct is now made public on another website.
As ridiculous dysfunction abounds, the abuser is now morphed into a VICTIM. The thread originator is now being slammed for not minding her own business and making the matter PUBLIC. I was likewise slammed for adding additional facts and labeled an ATTACKER.
As I posted elsewhere, DYSFUNCTION can survive without my input. Now i will go my way and watch.

Hi Barefoot Contessa ... Oh yeah, the one-size-fits-all victim cloak was dragged out; but it didn't cover up everything. I didn't see you as an "attacker", but only as one woman who was encouraging others to do what is right. Just because an action is right doesn't mean it will be popular with everyone. You know you're right, and you can sleep well. Bravo!
