    Halloween Lunch at Babe's

Saturday, October 25, 2008, 04:14 PM CST [General]

The Re-Gals had the most wonderful time on October 25, at a Halloween lunch at Babe's Chicken Dinner House in Garland, Texas. My ladies were all dressed up for the holiday and looked fantastic! We pigged out on home cookin' and kazooed our October birthday girls - Jana and me. There are more pictures at www.picturetrail.com/re-gals - enjoy!

    Creperie du Chateau

Sunday, August 17, 2008, 01:13 PM CST [General]

This month the Big D Re-Gals had lunch at Creperie du Chateau in uptown Dallas (which means it's just north of downtown - LOL). As you can guess, the specialty of the house is crepes, all kinds of crepes -- breakfast crepes, dinner crepes, dessert crepes. They are made with whole wheat so are very filling, and they were delicious. We all got free mimosas to start, and, unfortunately, we were too full of lunch to have any dessert :o(. We had a wonderful little waitress who anticipated our every need. The restaurant was very small, but they didn't seem to have any problem with our silliness.

Our Queens for the Day were fantastic. They had a nice door prize for everyone who attended -- fifteen members and two guests.

I was concerned about getting to the restaurant because I don't know downtown Dallas, but the directions were right on, and my GPS made us more comfortable.

We'll be talking about this one for a long time.

    Hi Tex..
Thanks for dropping by to read about the girls, Faith and Grace! I got the video up and running. There isn't much there, but it is still neat to see them running and happy. This was taken the morning of the ride, where I took Faith along. It is so nice to be able to get up to her now, with out her running away.
    Take care,,

Hi Tex, Yes, I have had my toe in the QMB lately. Sounds like a great group to chat with over there.

I did finally get my big beautiful hat and got to wear it. I am just waiting to get the pictures developed so I can show you what it looks like. I feel so regal in it and had so many complements on it. Can't wait for you to see........

I don't remember to much about Jimmy Durante. Just a little bit. I've had some hatters singing that song to me because of my name so I just had to find that song :)
Real pretty photo of you Tex.
    Ya come back now ....hear!
