Hobbies Needlepoint,gardening,read... walks..swimming..eating chocolate! Baladi Dance(bellydancing)...Sampo gymnastics(a graceful,very slow exercise for seniors!!!)

Music Most everything...Love jazz, the oldies...still love Barbara...into some operas..but have to listen when in that special opera mood!!!!Interested in Italian and French songs..Love Ertha Kitts french!!!!!!!!!!Also Arabic..of course...and south american beat!!Serenity when into Tarot...

Movies Don't go to movie theatres often...except for...our annual Cinefest..where we see 3 or 4 films a day for 7 days!!!!!!!But do watch at home...
have a passion for period films. Love Jane Austen! There that must say it all!!!

TV Go into different trends..ie Lost..CSI..now hooked on Cashmere Mafia...Always can do needlepoint if hubby wants to watch some guy thing on TV!!!(we have 5 TVs)but like to sit together towards end of evening...

Books Anything re the 'herstory' of woman...am into M.French's Eve to Dawn VolumnI ...and shhh Wiccan to Kabbalah.
Everything I can get my hands on re Tarot...

Likes Seems I like most everything these days...esp chocolate...

Dislikes Writing down things about myself...
Perhaps mean people...am meeting fewer and fewer these days...

Can't believe...

Yesterday I had lunch with two other Queen Mums...We had a lovely visit and chatting about our chapter activities and future plans for Fun...One asked me if I had been on the QMB recently...I said I hadn't....

I can't believe that I have not been...and not here...I feel badly as I see that some dear Ladies have written and sent messages to me...

What must you think of me...

I am so sorry and promise I shall be more considerate..look what I have been missing...

My personality is such that when in a crisis...I tend to keep to myself ......I let the storm blow through me...as a result.... take the chance of either becoming uprooted or ......able to stand firm and survive the winds...

Life is calm once again. All is well.

I have missed my cyber friends.

Greetings all!

Well he came!!!!!! We love him!!!!! Says he loves Canada!!!!!!! He bought maple leaf cookies for the girls!!!!!!!

Think there may have been a 'beavertail cookie or two as well .....in the gift given to him by a very excited lady!!!!!!!! Yum..Beavertail cookies are delicious!!!!! Kind of like a flat,glazed doughnut....no hole.....with lots of the sugar icing....He is coming back to visit us when it is warmer!!!!!
