Here are photos of some Red Hat Afghans that I've made. My chapter sponsors a Red Hatter Day at Timonium Dinner Theater. We provide lots of door prizes to give to the ladies. The afghan has always been the grand prize and the last one given out. All the ladies are very eager to win the afghan.

I've had a couple ladies ask about our purple satin jacket that we got for the "Fabulous Fifties" convention in Harrisburg, PA. We had "Red Hat Ladies" put on the back in red letters (like the "Pink Ladies" in the movie Grease). She also embroidered our names on the fronts with a red hat, which will be a great way to keep track of which jacket belongs to who at our gatherings. We could not be happier with our jackets, they are wonderful.

Well, we are still catching our breath after a fun-filled weekend of friendship & frivolity up at the Holiday Inn in Harrisburg. This is our fourth year attending this mini-vention and we can't say enough good things about it. We have a ball every year. It is not only a fun-filled and relaxing weekend for the Shrewd Hatters of Shrewsbury, but a great way to connect and reconnect with other chapters and friends. This year we became friends with a lady from Crownsville, Maryland that is not only a member of the RHS, but sells lots of beautiful items for all of us. We are looking forward to a "shopping" visit to her in May!

Since the theme was the Fabulous Fifties, we all ordered purple satin jackets with "Red Hat Ladies" embroidered in red letters on the backs (like the "Pink Ladies" in the movie "Grease"). What fun we had making a grand entrance with nine of us decked out in our jackets. The woman we got the jackets from even embroidered our names on the fronts with a different red hat for each of us. We love our jackets, thanks so much for getting them done for us in time for the convention, Veenie! As soon as I get my photos from the convention, I will post one of all of us in our jackets.

Wow, When I first started this journey to QMB2, I thought it would be much like my MySpace page.

OMG, this has been the most difficult journey! I can't view pictures that I uploaded, I can't find or view others  sites, I can't find or view any groups! What am I doing wrong??? Nothing is working for me. I am so frustrated!

I was hoping to meet others from York County, PA and Northern Baltimore County, MD.
