My new hat
I just finished putting the final touches on my new hat. I will be wearing this creation to the South Central PA Queen's Gathering on Saturday. I think it just might turn a head or two! I will post photos sometime this weekend so be on the lookout and let me know what you think.
Last Chance Harvey
A group of the Shrewd Hatters went to see "Last Chance Harvey" this past Saturday. We had a great time and we all enjoyed the movie. Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson did a great job with their roles.
Just checking in
Hi everyone,
I've been busy and unable to get here the past couple of months, but I'm still red hatting!
Hugs to everyone.
Hats! The Musical
I went to see Hats! the Musical at the Spotlighters Theater in Baltimore in October. My long-time friend, Linda and my vice-queen, Jenene and I spent a wonderful day in Baltimore. We had lunch, took in the show at the opening performance! What fun it way.
Here's a pic of Jenene and Linda reading the playbill and then the three of us outside the theater!
Pink "Wild Rose" Fascinator
Here is my version of the "Wild Rose" Fascinator in pink for all you pink hatters. I hope you like it. The pink is harder to photograph
Vanity the doll with attitude, joins the Red Hat Society
These would be cute to make for chapter gifts, or have a chapter get-together to make them.

So. Central Pa Queens Breakfast & Whoopie Pie Festival
On Saturday, we attended the South Central PA Queens Breakfast which was held at the Hershey Farms Whoopie Pie Festival. I got to meet QMB2 Kathy, which was a great treat! What a terrific lady. I hope we can get our chapters together for some PA fun. Here are some pics from the Whoopie Pie making. Red Hatters sure know how to make a Whoopie Pie! (for those of you that don't know what a Whoopie Pie is, it consists of two chocolate cakes that are filled with a white fluffy frosting, a PA treat, perhaps from the Amish).
