May day!!. I remember when I was in the 6th grade and we did the riboon may pole dance.  Not seen that done for a very long time.  But May is good, it means here in Ohio the rain might stop, the frosting is over and it will be hotter then blue blazes soon. 

I have been so busy and not on the QMB much. But looks like it is gone.  Sooooo we come here and type and hope others read, I guess.  This will take some getting use too, but I think we can do it.  But that 1st QMB will be hard to beat. 

April 25 was a great day for my chapter. We had red umbrula's with hats hanging from them and had our theme as (raining hats).  Then I got some grand prizes to give to the sisters.  One was a beautiful red hat, boa & gloves and then the booby prize was just a hat, LOL.   The ladies loved it. We sang our theme song, which has been "We Are Family" from the beginning & and we even know the words.   We welcomed a few newbies into our chapter, celebrated 3 April birthdays and I told everyone the story of how it all began.  But then I had the 7 sisters that started with me and have made us what we are today, come up in front of the siters and made them cry, oh they were happy crys ya see, cause we all love what we are doing and what we have become.  Sooooo I gave each of them the new member RHS B'day pin and we will wear them proudly.

Well it won't be long and we will be heading south for the nationals. There are 12 of us going and we are so ready to dress up and go out and play with the others. 

Then it will be back home and really get down to business for our FUN-vention in Sept. What a weekend. I am sure many of you have done the same thing this weekend, Esp. if you live in the snow belt.  Gone to the window and watch it snow!!!!! Eat and watch it snow somemore.  This was the worst for us, worse then the blizzard of 1978.  But thanks to our puters, we have now , we can communicate and save ourselves from boredom, ROFLMRO ....

Hope all of my sisters are staying warm and safe. I am so ready for a Red Hat day I could scream & shout, and thank goodness it'is this Sat the 15th, IF we don't have another snow storm.  LOL

I love red hatting and have meet so many of you and can't wait to meet more of you. 

 This is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.  As I get older I don't have less friends, I have more RED HAT Sister's now.  And a day at the pc is so worth it to see what you all are doing.  Now you all stay safe & warm!!
