I'm a little sad this evening. Today I took my youngest furry baby to be bred. She is a Maltese. She is my very shy little girl and I felt so bad leaving her. She has been with us for about a year, this is her second heat. Even though she has been here so long she is still very shy. She runs for cover whenever anyone comes in, especially my grandchildren. She feels safe with me and my daughter but still only likes my husband when he is sitting or laying down. He is a dog lover too, but for some reason she is shy with him. I think because he is a male.
I know that it is silly, but I worry that she feels I deserted her today. She has to stay there for a couple of days for a proper breeding though. I can't wait until I can go pick her up. She will be so excited.
When your kids are all grown, these furry things really become like your babies. I know that I give them too much credit for thinking things through. But I love her like my baby!

Hi Susan- I think I may be your room mate at convention but not sure. Let me know if I have the right Susan. Margo
