What an absolutely fun day we had on Saturday, April 25th, Red Hat Day!
First we went to Mexican Inn on 8th Avenue. Good food and lots of chatting!
Several people stopped by our table to talk with us and ask about the Red Hat Society.
We recited our vows and then when our mascot, Rosie was singing, we got several smiles from the diners around us!

After we ate, we walked across the street to a resale store.
After browsing for a bit, we were walking back to our cars when a lovely young lady named Laura popped out of Finn MacCool's Pub and started chatting with us. Then a gentleman named Roy popped out and invited us inside.
We chatted and laughed. Roy, the manager, invited us to bring our chapter to the pub for a day.
It definately will be on our agenda for the year!

We thanked Roy and Laura for a fun visit and walked back across the street to our cars.
Then we drove down the street to The Butler's Antiques.
We were greeted warmly and enjoyed hunting for treasures in the store.
Unfortunately, the ac was not working and we couldn't stay very long due to the heat & humidity.

All in all, it was a great day and a great way to celebrate membership in the Red Hat Society!
