In 2001, I saw a one-page item in Good Housekeeping about the Red Hat Society but there was no contact information given. I wrote a question to the local newspaper's information line and, when my question was answered in the paper, the name of the lady in our town who had applied for a charter was given. From that beginning we had a first meeting to which eight women came. We were the first chapter in Fayetteville and we have since grown to nearly 100 members and have helpeed several other chapters start here. Several of our members, while maintaining their membership in our large chapter (One Red Hat)) , have become queens of smaller chapters.
We welcome visiting Red Hatters to our city. Let us know if you'll be in our area!

Hi Linda! I had a torn miniscus. I'm not healing as fast as I would like to be...but I'm not a very patient patient!
