    Wonderful year!

    What a wonderful year this has been.  I joined RHS in September of 09, and how my life has changed!  I have met so many wonderful ladies and I know most of them will be wonderful friends for the rest of my life. 

    I have met sisters from all over the US and have chatted with sisters world wide!  I cannot ever see my life without my red hat!  If happiness runs in a circular motion, then a red hat is that circle!!

    My new BFF( another local Queen) and I are forming a new Queens Council in the small area where we live.  We are between to large cities and have to go to one of them to visit a council.  We are bringing several of the counties around us together to form one chapter.  We are so excited and everything seems to be just falling into place!  Wish us luck!So far we have 12 members!  I was hoping to start with 6 or 7 so for our small area, this is a terrific number.  We are hoping to have our first meeting in October!

    Hope everyone has found a part of life they were missing through the RHS.  I can't wait until next August and the bash in NO!  I am going to meet so many more wonderful sisters and bring home  the wonderful gift of friendship!

    Well things are starting to take shape!  So far we have 5 members with a couple more "hopefuls".  We are planning a tarting The first Saturday in November to decorate hats, bless our hats and have a contest for the best hat!  Everyone seems to be really excited!!  Let the good times roll!

    I Glorianna! Welcome to the world of red hatting! My chapter has been together 7-1/2 years & we're still having fun. We don't do anything particularly exciting, but we do enjoy our girl time. Our events are always on the 2nd Saturday of each month. If you'll let me know when your events are, maybe we can coordinate having an event together. We've never done that before, & I'm not sure if my gals will want to, but I'll propose it at our November event & will let you know. We don't have a December event, but we have a tradition of holding our holiday event in January at White Stone Bed & Breakfast in Kingston. It might be fun to hold a joint event there sometime, as they have lots of room for large groups.

    Welcome to the QMB2 and Red Hatting!! It's lots of fun. The chapter I'm in now has been together for over 5 years. I am in charge of our October outing and we are going to the Syracuse, NY zoo. It's about an hour's drive for us. We're looking forward to that adventure. We always have a blast regardless of what we do or where we go.
