Hi,my name is Lisa,Queen Lisa E. of The Pink and Purple Ladies,and I am new to the RHS as of 4/11/2012.I recently had spinal surgery,but before surgery,I was invited to  a Red Hat Gala put on by the Golden Sapphires and instantly fellmin love with the RHS.I had heard about RHS in the past and didn't know anything about the society,so was reluctent to join.Anyhoo,the 7th anniversary of the Golden Sapphires on March 24th,2012 opened my eyes,to this awesome sisterhood,that I now belong to.I had surgey on March 29th,2012 and as I was rolled into the operating room,I realized even more, how important and short life is,and how I need to enjoy everyday that I'm blessed with.Came through surgery fine and I am on the road to recovery,thanks be to God.I am so looking forward to getting my chapter off the ground and running,I have so many ideas,plans,suggestions and just fun things in my head,I feel like it is going to explode.I look foward to new members and to this awesome sisterhood.

     If anyone out there have any suggestions on getting started,things to do and just ideas in general,please let me know.
