About Me I am Queen Karen of the Ruby Red Girls in Martinez, CA. I have been Red Hatting since July of 2004. I love Red Hat events, large and small. I am happily married, most of the time. I like to call him, "Mr. All That". Because, he is!
I have 3 grown sons. My oldest son got married in 2006, and I am happily awaiting a grand child!

I deliver Meals on Wheels.

Interests Travel. Red Hat travel, or with Mr. All That. Reading with my book club.

Hobbies Making cards, decorating red hats, beading watches and bracelets, selling jewelry and accessories. Some are hand made by me! Some are bling, some are jewelry of faith.

Music Praise, Oldies, like from the 1960's and on. Blues.

Movies The Titanic. There are many more, but this is the first one that has come to mind.

TV Dancing With The Stars, All My Children, Lost.

Books Anything my book club is reading!

Likes Little children's voices, when they are not screaming. My Red Hat girlfriends. Sunny days at the beach. Sleeping late. Reading.

Dislikes I try not to think of things like that.

Vices Red Hatting, jewelry, purses, shoes, watches, chocolate. SHOPPING!! Both on the internet and at shops.

Virtues Faithful friend, good mom, fantastic wife, loving, respectful and fun to be with. At least that's what I've been told!

Pet(s) I have an old siamese cat, Sheiba. She is rather feral, and comes in to eat and runs back out. My Mr. All That is the only one who can touch her. She is beautiful, but not as friendly as the other cats I've had in my life.

I also have a fish tank. The number of fish varies. Right now I have 4. Will add to my variety very soon.

It's September!

It has been a wonderful year! I have traveled and seen more of Canada and the United States. I have met more Red Hat Sister Friends than I ever have. I can honestly say I've never met a Red Hatter I haven't liked!

On October 10th I will have surgery to remove bunions from both of my feet. I may be out of commission for 2 weeks. How I look forward to having this overwith!

Hope you are all happy and enjoying the change we call "Autumn", which is in the air!

Here it is, almost the middle of May! Where does time go?

I hope to spend a little more time here. I am a slow learner, but I am teachable. So, don't give up on me. I have lots to learn here, lots to share, and lots of Red Hat Sisters to get to know!
