    Getting Ready For A Move

    Goodness, didn't realize it had been so long since I've been here. Between Red Hatting events, I've been slowly preparing to put my house on the market. Will be making a move back to Houston when my house here is sold.

    Hate to leave the quiet of the country but gas is getting so expense and my son wants me closer to him. Will love all the shopping in Houston but not the traffic. Oh well, guess you can't have it all to one's liking.

    Will take lots of memories with me. This is the last house my hubby and I bought together before he passed away 3 1/2 years ago. It is time for me to go elsewhere.

    Just returned from Jekyll Island,GA and a wonderful Red Hat event. Met some fantastic ladies and the island was beautiful. There were 5 of us Texas gals who went and we had a ball.

    On the 19th of this month, I will be going on an overnight gambling trip.  Taking a couple of months off to finish cleaning and throwing away for my move then will be back on the roads in August for some red hatting.

    Starting All Over

    Well, I'm back again. Due to problems with my former site, I had to start over.  Do hope that those who visited me previously will return again.

    Leaving tomorrow to spend the night with a friend of mine as Monday we leave for Lake Charles,La. to participate in the Mardi Gras Parade. Its suppose to rain on our parade but I'm taking an umbrella and if it storms to bad will stay at the hotel and gamble.

    See you back on here sometime in the next week.

    Hi Dipsy: So glad I got to finally meet you at Jekyll, since I missed your last Georgia trip when you came to Savannah. All you Texas girls were a delight and I loved your outfits for all the different events, especially the Elvis. Hope you moving goes smoothly and we will soon get to see you again.

    Hi Dipsy, It was so wonderful to get to meet you, Dazzling Ruby, Khat, Frankie and Nina Ellen this past weekend. I hope that your trip back home was a good one. You ladies are so special and I really enjoyed our visit Saturday night. Hopefully, we'll all be able to get together again soon. Time just went by way too fast. Isn't Cat a classy lady!
