I haven't been on here for quite some time. Just letting you know I'm still around.
I tend to post on Facebook more these days. You can find me as "Lisa Adelaide" or check out our "Adelaide Red Hatters" page there.
Wishing you all a safe and Happy New Year. I hope 2013 brings good things your way.
My daughter The Princess Royal aka Jenni Hogan, Traffic Anchor with KIRO7 tv in Seattle, has been nominated for "Best Local Personality on Twitter" .
Being the proud Mum that I am, I'm rallying support for Jenni from family and friends for votes to put Jenni where she belongs and will always be to us... Number One!
Jenni recently reached 20,000 followers on Twitter.
My goodness how fast the past two months have flown!
Baby Siena arrived on the 20th May (3 days before Grammy).
I am now back in Adelaide, having spent just over a month with my new grand-daughter, her mummy Jenni and Daddy Josh. I had a wonderful (sometimes exhausting) time being Alice from the Brady Bunch... preparing meals, doing the laundry, holding the baby..and disappearing when I thought they needed space. LOL!
Even made my tv debut on Seattle television: www.kirotv.com/video/23792199/index.html
Also met up with 15 Red Hatters at Ivars restaurant on the Seattle waterfront. How special it was to meet and hug my QMB,QMB2 and FB Gal Pals in person.
In a few days I will be flying Up Yonder over The Pacific to Seattle. Lil Pookette is due soon. It's a race now to see who arrives first. Grammy or Lil Pookette?
My how time has flown.
I have my airline ticket..only 8 weeks to go now until Grammy arrives in Seattle .
I can finally share my exciting news:
DD Jenni aka The Princess Royal is going to be a Mommy!!
This is how she broke the wonderful news this morning on Seattle TV and to her Facebook and Twitter friends

Little Princess Pinky is due to arrive in early June.
Adelaide is nestled between the Hills to the East and the sea to the West. I live about a mile in from the beach and seven miles from the city centre. We have a Mediterranean climate similar to Northern California. The city is a smiliar size to Sacramento. You can find out more about my part of world at www.southaustralia.com
