Just wanted to share a few pictures from our outing today.  We went to the Rainforest Cafe at Walt Disney World, Downtown Disney.  What a great day!  We had people stop us and ask to take pictures with us, others wanted to know who we were - it was great!

]]> 0 Having Whales of Fun in Lake Wales Chapter Outing Hi Sister Red Hatters,

Today was our day to have tea at Lavender and Lace Tea Room in Lake Wales, Fl. and to show off the hats that each of us decorated.  The ladies came up with some really neat ideas!  We had a fantastic time.  The food was great and the fellowship with each other was awesome.  We have such a great little group of ladies and we have so much fun when we get together.  It really is a Sisterhood!

Just wanted to say hi to all my Sister Red Hatters and to wish you the best day ever.  I haven't been a Red Hatter for very long, but I want you all to know that it is just the most fun thing I have ever been involved with.  I am meeting so many terrific ladies, and it sure has put a great spin on getting "older".  Instead of feeling like I have one foot in the doorway of a nursing home, I feel like I have both feet planted firmly on the ground ready to experience something new and wonderful. 

Our Chapter is small, but mighty, and growing.......  There are eight of us now, but we started out with only two.  When we get together it is just a real blast!

]]> 0 Our Mad Hatter Shopping Day and Luncheon Hi Sister Red Hatters,

Today was our day of shopping for materials to make our "outrageous" hats and did we ever shop til we dropped!  What a great time we had - shopping, great fellowship, good food - what more could an "old lady" ask for?  We bought tulle, feathers, lots and lots of flowers, glittery material - after all, what's a hat without the bling!

Patsy was appointed Vice Queen, Marg is now The Duchess of Lake Wales, Chris is Madame Shotzee and Patsy is Empress Sweet Pea.  Of course, I am Doris, Queen of the Bling.  Can't wait til our next outing!

]]> 0 Birthday Bash Yesterday was a wonderful day!  Queen Mary Little hosted a Birthday Bash in Sebring, Fl.with about 200 ladies from different chapters in attendance.  Everyone was in their Red Hatter's finest - and did we have a ball!!   Food was great, conversation fantastic and the entertainment was to die for.  You just had to be there to appreciate it.  They had a gong show that was absolutely hysterical!  Great door prizes, a Chinese auction - vendors on hand to pick up those things that are so hard to find - I finally got my red and purple boa!!!!  I, for one, am ready to go again!
