    Brand-New Chapter-West Virginia

Hi...I am "brand-new" to the Red Hat Society-having formed my own Chapter just two weeks ago. (Feb. 08) I am working on trying to design letterheads, calling cards, making up special Invitations, printing out all the information I can find to share with possible sister members, etc.  I am reading all about the special activities coming up for Red Hatters, as well as looking through Websites and Catalogs to order some "neat" Red Hat products.  I ordered the four pair of Red Hat Shoes for only $20 at the Grasshopper Website, and they are adorable and very comfortable. I am planning to have my first "informal" Tea in March, with our first formal meeting scheduled for Red Hat Day on April 25th.  I am talking to some T-Shirt designers, trying to come up with a suitable "logo" for our chapter: Candy Apple Red Hatters, so, if any of you have any ideas or suggestions for making up a logo or chapter design for fun, please share your creative ideas here with me-thank-you.  Also, I am hoping you all will give me some good advise about what is the best way to start up a new Chapter.  I will be so glad to hear from each of you, as to what you feel makes your chapter the best or most successful.  What works for you? I would love to hear any suggestions you have for beginning activities, as well as to share your pictures with me of table decorations and favors that can be made and/or bought to be used for my first Tea. If you have the time, please share with me anything you feel I need to know, as I look forward to and love to meet new Cyber-Sister Friends.

Hello, Vicki, and welcome to the Red Hat Society and the QMB2! Where are you located in West Virginia? My husband is originally from the Mullens area near Beckley.
