    PLEASE JOIN THE RUTHERFORD RED HOTTIES FOR A LOVELY DAY!

    The "Rutherford House Red Hotties" invite you to a RED HAT TEA PARTY, Including a Fashion Show by Bon Worth, and a Basket Raffle, scheduled for Friday,October 17, 2008, (12 Noon to 3:oo p.m.).

    The Tea will be held at The Rutherford House (an activity center for seniors), located at 3300 Parkview Lane,Harrisburg. Phone: (717)564-5682. Tickets are $5.00 and should be ordered directly from The Rutherford House no later than Friday,October 10, 2008.

    If you want a table reserved for your group, please be sure to give The Rutherford House staff the full name of your Red Hat Chapter.

    As in past years, we are asking our Red Hat Sisters to bring their own teacups and saucers(if available). In addition if there is especial memory or history associated with the teacup, we would love to have you share it with us!

    Queen's Breakfast & Whoopie Pie Festival

     Hi Queens:

    There are still openings for the Queen's Breakfast at the Hershey Farms Restaurant on September 20th. You may stay for the Whoopie Pie Festival for no added cost to the queens and vice queens or their designated hatters that come to the breakfast. I hope to see you all there.

    RED HOT LANCASTER LADIES OF STRASBURG INVITE OUR FELLOW QUEENS AND VICE QUEENS TO JOIN US FOR THE NEXT SEMI MONTHLY QUEENS COUNCIL GATHERING - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 IN STRASBURG PA AT HERSHEY FARM RESTAURANT..........LIMIT OF 2 PER CHAPTER (QUEEN AND VICE QUEEN OR TWO OTHERS DESIGNATED PER CHAPTER)September 20

    - Queens Gathering at Hershey Farm 9:30AM - Queens cost is only $9.00pp for breakfast (the chance to mingle and talk to other queens and get ideas for your chapters)

    This is the opportunity to come out and join fellow queens and vice queens (only 2 per chapter can be present if the queen and vice queen can not make it) as we sit and mingle and talk about all our chapters are doing over a leisurely breakfast. A special morning is planned for the queens in a private dining room.After your queens council meeting you can

    feel free to wander the property and enjoy the fun filled day as we enjoy every kind of whoopie pie you can imagine! Not only is the whoopie pie for eating but it also is for fun. We'll be having a Whoopie pie race, launch, checkers, whoopie pie eating contest and much more.

    Yay! I'm so happy to see ladies sharing events and ideas. That new tea room sounds like it is worth checking out! The cruise sounds fabulous (wish I could go!) Thanks for the feedback on an event that you have enjoyed, I'm sure both the event organizers and potential attendees appreciate your opinions. Let's keep the ideas coming!
