I have been following the progress of Callie the cat , because I am a pet lover also. I am happy for both of them( Callie & Duchess) . Sometimes we have to ignore Drs. orders. Pets can bring us such peace and happiness. I have a 13yr. old rat terrier that has gone through some strange behavior that is still undiagnosed by the vet. I know she won't be with me much longer, but she sure has brought a lot of joy into my life. Right now she still acts like a puppy. That little tail is full of expression. You just have to laugh looking at her. When she has one of her spells she can hardly walk, and when she does, it is kind of in circles. After a couple of hours it passes. It hasn't happened often but it is sad when it does. I love her (my little girl).
Hi Pat, DH and I have always had dogs our entire married life and I know the bond you are speaking of. Although it has been sad to see our furry children go, I wouldn't trade a minute for all the love and joy they have brought into our home. We are down to one very spoiled Pomeranian now and he makes us laugh daily. Your little girl looks positively spunky in the pictures...
