About Me I'm a retired (tho not by choice) nurse, and recently hubby and I took a course in Reiki, and are now Reiki Master practioners. Not ready to set up a practice yet tho, I have to get back on my feet first.

Interests I love to read, and it varies from week to week what I'm reading.

I also love to sew. I used to make clothes, but my latest endeavors have been in the quilting field.

Music The music I listen to depends on my mood. I like almost anything, tho I'm not crazy about the headbanging stuff DD listens to sometimes, and I just don't get Rap.

Movies Haven't been to the movies in years, used to wait for it to come out on video, but don't even watch them anymore. There's a few I might sit and watch, but I'd have to be in the mood.

TV Watching more TV these days, DD DVRs late night shows for me to watch at my convenience. Unforgettable is a favourite, as are Body of Proof, and still, Law and Order, SVU.

Books Nora Roberts is a favorite, as is her alter ego JD Robb. Also like Debbie Macomber and Kristin Hannah, to name a few. There's really too many to name.

Likes A good steak, stinky ripe tomatoes on a bacon sandwich, holding hands with my husband, the beach, the mountains.

Dislikes angry drivers, people who talk on the phone while driving, people who assume that my dog is vicious just because she's a pit bull.

Vices Fudge, coffee, good books.

Virtues Honesty, integrity, easy going most of the time, kind hearted. (all this comes from my daughter)

Family I've been married for 37 years to the MOST wonderful man in the world. We have three great kids, a daughter Kate, 31 and a son Rob, 35,who recently married Lauren,24.

Pet(s) We have 3 cats that run the house. At least it seems that way sometimes. All are rescue animals, and I'd have a dozen more if I could afford to feed them.

Again I post about a new photo. It's been two years, and I don't have red hair anymore. Just saw this one tonite it is from a wedding we went to in June, and my son tagged me on Facebook. Hope I can get a copy, the original is of DH and I and both of us look good. I usually take a horrid picture, so am happy to see this good one, hope you like it!

FINALLY a new picture!!!!

Well there it is. Finally the picture I've been trying to post for months. I actually remembered how after about half an hours worth of fooling around on the QMB, and then brought it over here too. At first I couldn't find where my DS had stored it, of course, he didn't, I did, and couldn't remember where. ("Susan in Regalia", how easy is that??) Then I had to change the size. Panic!!!! But I got it to Photobucket, and then it was easy, at least by the third time, when I realized I had to save it....... The rest is history. That's my favorite hat by the way, I wear it as often as I can get away with it...... since I'm the Queen, that's whenever I want!!
