How many watched the "Groundhog Day" MOVIE?

I always watch it on the "actual" day.. seems to be more interesting and FUN to do that. I taped it a few years ago, so that I 'can' do that.. watch it ON the actual day, I mean.

Okay.. ARE we going to have 6 more weeks of winter? Well, I guess it depends on WHERE you live!

Pennsylvania..  Yup, their groundhog saw his shadow! SIX more weeks of winter down there.....

Nova Scotia.... Nope. We had RAIN all day! Shurbenacadie Sam... ventured out, wandered around in the rain for a bit, and then hurried back into his abode. Smart animal!

Ontario... Nope, they had SNOW and blowing winds all day. No sun, no shadow... no more Winter! I'm SURE they hope so, anyway!

Personally, I'll take the RAIN and +5 temps (40ish Farenheit) over ANY other kind of winter weather ... on Feb 2nd, only of course.   Especially IF it means... SPRING in SIX weeks!! That means... IF you want to see Spring in March.. ya gotta move to either Nova Scotia, or Ontario.... LOL

Today, January 25, 2008 ... is a very special day!!

*Opposite Day*

I was telling my hubby about today being "Opposite Day".
He wondered out loud how you'd celebrate a day like this.
So I suggested we do something directly opposite of what
someone else expected us to do.
To which he replied... "you do that all the time!"

LOL  ;)  

Expect the unexpected... and especially..
on January 25th..... Opposite Day!!

There is a place.. for everything, and everyone, at this new QMB2 site!!

My lists, my devotions, my twins program, my fibro support group, my gardening, my clowning, my crafting.. did I leave anything out? LOL

I needed a place... to do my "Celebrations for the Month" list! To talk about the "Gem" of the Day; helpful suggestions for those of you who have grandchildren come to visit.. on a rainy day.. from a CLOWN and children's entertainer... and all of the exciting and interesting things I find .. to brighten up MY day, which I would like to share with YOU, my RHS sisters!!
