About Me
Sassi (Minipaz) is our chapter mascot. She is a 91 year old slut muffin with a mouth like Maxine and a past like Mae West. She can't keep my mouth shut. We won second prize in a NO TALENT contest and I suppose she is my altered ego. VERY ALTERED!
All I do is have fun. There are a number of Red Hat Conventions will be attending. I'm looking fwd to going to Wichita Falls, Texas this coming April, Reno in May, Columbus, Ohio in September, Laughlin, Nevada in October,and North Carolina in November. I took 4 yrs of college in two years from 78 to 80. Retired from CA state after 27 years and went to work as a Labor Relations Rep for the Ca State Employees Assoc. Always fighting for the underdog. Retired again in 2005. Married 2 times. First one I ran out, second 1 I wore out... Was in Manhattan on 9/11 and life is forever changed. I drove from NYC back to Sacramento. Consequently, not much really scares me any more. I love to travel and have been to 37 foreign countries plus Texas. And YES, Texas is a foreign country. There is a Texas Embassy in London! I spend my mornings at World Gym which is close enough that I can walk over! I am enjoying retirement and find lots of things to do to fill my day. I NEVER watch TV except for the two hours I am on the stationary bike at the gym. My idea of roughing it is the Hilton withOUT a microwave. I do enjoy my timeshares and tend to travel a lot with my girlfriends. I have been on numerous cruises to Alaska, Panama canal,Rome, Greece, Turkey, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Viet Nam, China, and the Mediterranean.

Family
Raised two sons. One is a police officer the other works for IBM. Both intelligent, Christian and responsible. Currently four grandchildren. The most important people in my life NOW! Three boys, ages 5,5, and 8. One girl age 10.

Well, here is an update. I have not been to the gym much at all since WF 08. Don't know why. Probably depressed over the ability to actually lose the weight I had set as a goal. Went to the HOORAY FOR HATTITUDE event in Reno May 29-30 and had the true pleasure hearing TBAG LADY (Georgia Gwen) SING! And let me tell you she CAN sing! Looking fwd to seeing the QMB ladies in WF again in May 09. Soon

Soon I will be on my way to Wichita Falls, Texas to meet with 117 or so other QMB posters. Am I excited? Can I sleep? Is the suitcase open? And overflowing? Do I have my gifties all finished? Do I need to take a fan, a teapot, my vitamin cream??? Will the clothes that I have outgrown fit anyone there? Will they want them? Will my suitcase hold ALL of my bling? Will Sassi need any extra creature comforts?
The answers to these questions and MORE will appear after the 15th of April. In the meantime, you all take care and have fun.
