    Waiting for Baby!!

    Sunday, May 9, 2010, 5:48 PM [General]

I received the best Mother's Day present ever on Friday!  My daughter and son-in-law gave me a card which started out "Wanted Grandmother"!!  Oh my goodness!!  I couldn't read any farther and just started stuttering and making strange noises!!  I was so excited!!  This is my very first grandchild and we are just over the moon with anticipation and love!!  Baby will be arriving around New Year's.  Today there was snow flurries on Mother's Day and I think it was my Winter Grandbaby saying Happy Mother's Day to his/her Grammie!!!!  The picture above is the card I made for the beautiful mother-to-be.  My heart is overflowing already and I can't wait to hold that precious bundle in my arms.

Hubby and I took a nice drive this morning to enjoy the upstate New York fall foliage.  It was a beautiful sight at Taughannock Falls.

Thank you Kay for your sincere comment. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year too. I have been guilty of spending a lot of time on FB with some of my red hat friends, but I am trying to get back to QMB1 and QMB2 as much as I can so I don't neglect my other friends. Was glad to hear from you. Hugs to ya Queen Faye
