Hi Kay ~~ Glad you enjoyed your first parade. We participated in a parade once. We decorated the back of a truck and had it set up like a tea party. Two of us walked the entire route along side our truck and handed out red and purple bead necklaces to the ladies watching the parade. I was pooped out by the end of the parade, it was a long one!! Of course the gals sitting at the tea party were as relaxed as could be!! LOL!! When we got to the judges' stand we poured them some iced tea (it was summer). And we won a ribbon!!
