    About Me I was married for 33 years and was busy raising 3 children. I am divorced now and my "baby" is 25. I am a positive person that enjoys life and am learning that I deserve to do this.
    Interests I love dogs. All kinds. I have 2 at home and 3 that "visit". I enjoy gardening. I like to cook. I am interested in traveling in the US - haven't seen much yet.
    Hobbies Well, it used to be laundry but things change! Right now I don't have anyting specific.
    Music Rock and Roll! It gets the blood moving around!
    Movies The only kind I don't like is scary and/or gory movies. I like to be entertained. It can be either thought-provoking or just for fun.
    TV Grey's Anatomy and ER (although that will be gone soon), Brothers and Sisters. Sometimes Desperate Housewives-although recently it hasn't been too good.
    Books I haven't read one in a while. When I pick one up the world stops until I'm done!
    Likes I like to do midly active things. Mini golf, going for a walk outside, museums. I love to laugh!
    Dislikes Negative people! Pity parties. Anyone unkind.
    Vices I'm not sure. I haven't done anything in so long I may need to acquire some of these..

    I don't speak up for myself - that could be one, right?
    Virtues I've been told I'm a great support person. (wish I listened to myself more") I follow through. I honor my commitments. I am very organized.
    Family I have 3 daughters. 2 are married and the youngest lives with me. The married girls are teachers and the youngest is going back to school to become a teacher. They are amazing women, each with a different part of me that stands out.

    Pet(s) I have a rescued/shelter dog named Tildy. She is about the size of a sheltie but we don't know what she is. She was found and I was told she was either 6 months or 3 years old at that time (big difference) so she is now either 13 or 16. Koosa, the shy border collie lives with me and belongs to my youngest daughter. She is the meekest border collie you can imagine. I also have "grand dogs" that visit: Bella/beagle mix, Jem/13 inch beagle and Gypsy/Cocker-Cavilier spaniel.

    I have no idea just what I am doing here as I am unfamiliar with the Blog part of life and posting but it is my belief this is to communicate with other RHS members, so , here goes...


     


    I am trying to "connect" with a chapter in my area.  I have sent messages asking for a telephone call but have had no responses.  My on line Email address has new Email blocked due to some bad choices by a person that previously shared the account, so I can't get Email from there.


     


    I'm hoping someone will read this and connect.  There aren't many events I'm finding on the calendar so I'm beleiving there must be chapter events that are going on that aren't posted.

    Ready for fun!

    Hi!

    I'm Jubilant Joy and refuse to let anyone steal the good times from me.  I'm looking forward to findng other women with a positive attitude for fun.  My journey of life has had me centered on others for quite some time and now it's my turn to center on me.

    I have never had a sister and it's very exciting to enter a "family" of so many!  Thank you for welcoming me.
