Interests Love to go camping in our 34 foot trailer(ya, we really slum it...) Hanging at the lake, walking on the beach. I'd like to travel more. I also try to visit some snowbird friends of mine in Mesa, Arizona.

Hobbies I do alot of different crafts. I'd like to start wood working. Power tools!! YEAH!!

Music Mostly Country and Classic Rock. Now that I have sattelite radio in my truck, I listen to the 80's station!

Movies Love Chick Flix!! And one's with parnormal content like; The Sixth Sense, Frequencey, White Noise.

TV Hells Kitchen, LOST, Young and Restless, Ellen, Oprah.

Books I just started reading, A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.

Likes Driving in the country and mooing at the cows. I like cows, I collect them. I have a kitchen full of them. I think I'll make my stuffed cow that I got for Christmas, our Chapter Mascot!!

Dislikes Liars and thieves! And rude and impatient drivers! And people with bad attitudes! And people who think they're the only ones with the right opinion...opinions are like a**h***s. Everybody's got one!

Vices I smoke...I want to quit but, I've heard it's harder to quit smoking than to quit heroin... but, I'm gonna keep trying! I also have kind of a potty mouth. I'm trying to expand my vocabulary but, when I'm angry I seem to revert back to potty!

Virtues Honest...to a fault. Got that from my Mom. She always said, "better to have the truth hurt a little now, than to lie and have it hurt alot more later." She was a smart lady...I miss her very much.

Pet(s) Poor old Star. She's our 16 (almost 17) year old Cocker Spaniel. 2 cats, Sally(15 or 16) and her great grandaughter Spot(she turned 10 in november) Spot was born a week and a half after my Mom passed away.
Addition: My Star passed away March 10th, 2008. RIP baby.
*Addition: Both Sally and Spot passed away. Sally in the fall of old age, and Spot in December after developing diabetes. But alas...I just can't be without an animal. So, our Baby Bella came into our lives. She's a chihuahua poodle cross, and she's a bundle of energy!! She's a real joy after all the sadness.

Well, our chapter is 1 year old on January 29th! And we're so busy we really haven't done anything. Our first gathering went really well!! We had alot of fun, and we really would like to do more together but, it's really hard to plan because of everyone's schedules. Hopefully, this year will be better. I want to plan a little camping weekend in spring. That ought to be fun. So, I'll post more later.

Getting Ready For The Gathering!

Well, this Saturday (March 15th) is our first ever "Gathering of the Goddesses" I have a couple things planned. I'm giving my Goddesses a little gift bag of a few things I made. A bookmark with a very cool motto on it (The Journey to the Grave...), a door hanger with red hat graphics and it says, "DO NOT DISTURB. I'M HAVING A GODDESS MOMENT". And a little felt hat pin. I bought a white photo mat for us all to sign, and I'll be taking a picture of us to put in the mat, of our first gathering. And I have a little game to play. Yankee Swap. It ought to be a riot!! And lunch and drinks of course. I'm sure the Goddesses will have questions so, I'm setting up a table with all the RHS info that I have. I've also made up "Welcome" packages with ideas for outings, the "Warning" poem, a personal info form so I'll have all their phone numbers and such, and a little info on the RHS and our Chapter info., and a list of name examples so they can think about picking their titles. I don't know if this is gonna be too much, not enough, or just right...I guess I'll see on Saturday. And I'll post about it after the gathering, as well as add pictures!! Wish me luck!!!
