Family Raised 4 children mostly as a single parent. Also earned my nursing degree during that time (35 yrs old). Two boys, two girls. Lost my youngest son at age 26 from a motorcycle accident - very difficult. Remaining son is a highschool Special Ed teacher and track coach; both daughters are RN's who got their degrees after age 30. One works in a large O.R. and the other in a Mother/Baby unit - both at the same hospital.

March Greetings

Greetings Red and Pink Hat sisters. I wanted to post a March greeting to all of you...spring is just around the corner.

Also, I wanted to send you a warning...be sure to keep the floor of your car free of cords, purse straps, etc. Otherwise you will end up like me with a cracked pelvis! Yes, can you believe I fell out of my parked car onto the pavement and, fortunately, didn't break my hip, but cracked my pelvis. All because my foot got tangled in the cord to my Garmin. When I related this to another lady, she told me her friend had a similar thing happen...fell out of the passenger seat because her foot got tangled in the strap of her purse which was on the floor. So, keep this in mind!
