    About Me My noms de plume on the QMB are Lady Tiffany & Penelope Plume.

    In "Hudson Valley Violets" every member after three years of membership is inducted into her own personal Order. She receives two Order Pins and a Title/Noms de Plume/Order Certificate. My Order is the Order of the Feathers which is the most ancient and noblest Order.

    I am also Queen of the "Queen Bees"
    and invite you to read my comments which list my other three QMB2 Sites, thirteen QMB2 Groups, and the two Queens' Councils that I founded and host.

    Place your right hand on your "Red Hat" and your left hand on 
    your pocketbook.

    I, ___________________________ do solemnly swear on my "Red Hat" that I will do my best to uphold the spirit of the Red Hat Society.
    I greet this age of "mental pause" with verve, humor, and fun. 
    I take my silliness seriously, as it is the comic relief of life.
    In the Spirit of Friendship and Sisterhood, I join my Red Hat and 
    Pink Hat sisters as we go for the gusto together!
    Beneath our frivolity, we share a bond of affection, 
    common life experience and a genuine enthusiasm towards the future.
    I promise to regularly practice having fun, do those things 
    I have waited to do, while I paid my dues in life, and wear jewelry 
    til I fall over.
    I promise never, ever, to wear knee highs with sandals 
    and to dispel the notion a Woman My Age is Old!
    This I pledge in the spirit of the Red Hat Society as envisioned by 
    the Exalted Queen Mother Sue Ellen Cooper and with 
    a Hudson Valley Violets' hattitude!

    OUR CHAPTER'S HISTORY

    Hudson Valley Violets was founded by our Queen Carol Ann as an official chapter (ID #34355) of the Red Hat Society on Tuesday,
    1 June 2004. Our first get-together was an Ice Cream Social on Saturday, 21 August 2004 at 3:00 PM "Violet Time."

    Order of the Feathers was founded by our chapter's Queen Carol Ann as an official chapter (ID #57657) of the Red Hat Society on Tuesday,
    17 May 2005. Order of the Feathers' first event was a Dinner on Saturday, 16 July 2005 at 6:00 PM.

    Hudson Valley Violets and Order of the Feathers were combined and became day and evening segments within the official chapter
    (ID #34355) of the Red Hat Society on Thursday, 1 June 2006 and was known as Hudson Valley Violets/Order of the Feathers.

    HVV/OOTF formed an Orange County extension to its Rockland County based chapter at a 12 Noon Luncheon on Wednesday,
    31 January 2007.

    HVV/OOTF formed a Pink Hatter extension to the Rockland County part of the chapter called Pink Ladies at a 6:00 PM Dinner on Tuesday,
    26 June 2007.

    On Thursday, 1 November 2007 our chapter's name reverted to
    Hudson Valley Violets which was based in both Orange and Rockland Counties and included Rockland County's Pink Ladies' members. 

    As of Saturday, 29 November 2008 Pink Ladies is no longer a separate segment. All Pink Hatters will be integrated into both segments of HVV.
