Re: Testing this forum out
Hi Biker Babes, glad to be back online after my long, (seems to me) absence cuz my puter was down.
If you live in warmer climate you can ride all year long, but for Theresa and myself we have to wait until at least April and then sometimes that can be chilly for riding. In my next life I'll live in a warm climate and ride whenever I want, instead of waiting till Spring.
Theresa/BikerChic, are you going to Bike Week? She usually does. There is a condo for rent in my HOG newsletter, sleeps six and is 10 miles north of Daytona, they want $1,500.oo for the week. I don't think that is too bad if you can get 6 ppl to share.
Thanks for the good wishes to all for a Happy New Year Queen Christy, I'll take all the good luck I can get.
Anyone else have rides planned, sure would like to read about them.
Ride On Babes, ride on!

Hey, y'all--go over to RhinestoneChic's page and see her new tattoo!!!This is what my next tat is going to look like. But I'm going to ask the artist to add a RED HAT to it--kind of "hanging" off the right end of the ribbon! Cool, huh???

Re: Testing this forum out
Queen Christy, this is what my next tattoo is going to look like? Do you have others? Post a pic of them. I like the patch, so a tattoo of that same image would be totally awesome.
Darn I want a tat also, but am so chicken and am afraid I would hate the design in a couple years.

Re: Testing this forum out
Hi Marcia:You said you wanted to live in Tenn. some day. Where abouts? Where I live in N.C. is only 30 miles from Cherokee, which is only over the mountain from Pigeon Forge Tenn. Also where I live in Fl. is only 90 miles from Daytonia Beach. During Bike week we ride over there for the day. Queen Kathy Myers

Re: Testing this forum out
Kathy, We want to move to Tenn maybe in 4 yrs. but we need to start looking soon. It took us 3 yrs to find the place where we live now.
You live on the East side, which is prime area, love that side. Actually we have no idea.
I have chatted with Jet and Saundra about living in the "middle" of the state.
My hubby is sooo caught up in his classic car right now that we might not be able to drive down for a look see this summer, but we need to.
I'll be checking out Pigeon Forge for sure. Thanks for the tip.
I have never been to Bike Week, I would love to go! Maybe someday.

Re: Testing this forum out
Hey Biker Babes....I have a small challenge for ya's this summer.Let's see which of you can spell out the words RED HATS first. The deal is to ride your bikes to cities that start with each letter and take a pic of some kind and post your pic for all to see. Let's start this challenge on May 1st, that way us cold weather babes can participate.

Re: Testing this forum out
Marcia--I just uploaded it to my gallery first, then I copied/pasted it into my post.Theresa--I don't know why, but the fonts on this board are insane and have minds of their own. Seems like the sizes change without notice, sometimes bigger and sometimes smaller! Seems like they'd incorporate something so we could choose font size like we did on the QMB.Hugs!

Re: Testing this forum out
This is ridiculous...I can't/read see a thing! I'm starting to get an attitude about this new board and this new RHS. It irritates me that they closed Chapter Search and only show "open" chapters. Now I can't invite other neighboring chapters to events. I don't wanna have to go thru Hatquarters event calendar to do my planning/inviting/checking. Thank Goodness we Michigan gurls have Susan and her www.michredhatters.com to keep us in the loop of parties. Check it out!
Thanks Christy, I didn't think of copy/paste.
So, are you up for the Biker Babes Summer Challenge?????

Re: Testing this forum out
I CANNOT READ IT EITHER. WISH THAT THE QMB WOULD GET IT FIXED. THIS FONT IS NOT READABLE TO ANYONE. HELLO........CAN ANYONE FIX THIS PROBLEM ?????

Re: Testing this forum out
OK, going to try to change the font size... well, on the preview it worked, but not when it posted! Darn!

Re: Testing this forum out
Christy, I can read your post just fine. I must be one of the lucky viewers this morning. Hooray for me.
I'll be in the garage the rest of the day washing, waxing, polishing the Harlette. This last week we have had gorgeous weather, I finally got "her" out of the barn and now am able to shine her up.
#21 2008-04-21 16:47:42
Re: Testing this forum out
I've got 'er done!
My Harlette is waxed and polished. Now I don't wanna take her down my dirt road. It is only 1.75 miles to the pavement, but Man that short distance can be brutal on my shine job!
I'm gonna stop by the Harley Dealer tomorrow after work and order a tour pak. I need more room for stuff and a detachable one will be perfect when I go visit my sisters. There is a liner available that removes like a suitcase,,,gonna get that also.
Let's ride on!
