Re: FIREFOX

I use both Internet Explorer and Firefox...Here on QMB2 I use Firefox. Perhaps if there was an explanation of what FireFox is, more would use it.  I think if more ladies knew what it is and does, they would use it. I've read so many comments where they questioned  'Why should they add something else to their computers'.  The question itself  indicates they don't understand it's function.

Mitsie2

Re: FIREFOX

I use both. I have both tabs open at the same time.

"Mitsie2" is on Firefox, and "Mitsie' is on Internet Explorer.
By keeping the two tabs open at the same time, I'm less confused. LOL

I read the small font in the Forums with Firefox, and make my blog posts
and send my messages with IE.

I do think that explaining things out very well i.e. in great detail, is necessary
for some women to understand how it all works. Not that they're stupid or
anything... they just need more of a description to understand what to do easily

I may post things that sound "smart".. but remember, I have two computer/
internet techies in my household (DH and son) and they've repeated these
things to me, over and over and over (and over... lol) until I finally "get" what
they're talking about.

I still don't believe that we should 'have' to download a special browser to read
this site... but since that is the only way I can read these forums, that's what
I did. I DO mind the pictures, photos and siggies showing (which they don't do
with I.E.), so I can only read for a bit with Firefox, before I have to go back to I.E.

I'm still hoping that someday, this font size will be adjusted so that ALL can
read it, even with I.E. Hope springs eternal, and all that. smile
