Am I here?

Why do I feel like part of me has been left out?

Remember Star Trek when they  would transport from one place to another?

It's as if I've been transported but am now patting my body to make sure all my parts made it, too.

Yep! The hips and thighs definitely made it.  smile

Let me rearrange the title of this thread.....

Here I am!

Re: Am I here?

LOL Margalit!  You always bring a smile to my face.

No, no Dr. Spock.  But I did see a little Tribble scamper by...

Thank you, Tex and The Most Divine Ms. Em!

We need some new paint in here & a few throw pillows.

Some fabulous curtains, too.

Can anyone point me to the direction of the kitchen?

I need some coffee this morning. . .

Hi, Maureen. Good to see you here, too. Pretty soon we'll all know where we're going and what we're doing and it will be just like home.

Re: Am I here?

Hi DQ Maureen;

Just made it here myself ~ LOL!!  Glad to see all the "T" Tramps over on this side.

Glad I'm finding my way around, even if it is by trial and error ~~ sure been some errors but getting better.  They say "better with age" but I'm sure that's not the case here ~ but my wine sure is getting better.  LOL

Thanks to all these wonderful Red/Pink Hat Sisters it's getting lots easier.

Hugs to ALL.

Re: Am I here?

Mo,
Glad to see you made it.  I received my comment about the T.  If I could keep
little kids away from it I could get more autographs.   There were two that kept trying to take it off to their car.   Maybe in the fall I'll take a taser and zap the little b**ts  smile

Re: Am I here?

Well, heck!  You're right Darlene.  That just shows you how alert I am!

I chat with some of those ladies that are on a different website that is an RHS chapter in itself and I was invited by Queen Mo.  It's like here in that it is very friendly and non-judgemental.  Mostly TN and Bama gals with a few CA gals thrown in.  I tell you those southern gals really know how to Red Hat!  They are doing stuff all the time and full of the devil!  It's fun to read their postings.

Re: Am I here?

I keep hoping that everytime bedlam breaks out on the old board,
(gotta stop calling it that!!), that more will return here.

No such luck, I guess.

I just drop in once in awhile... and check all of my groups. Not much going on.

I'm going off the computer for awhile... want to enjoy the last week DH is off
from work!!

Like you said... it would have been nice.

Re: Am I here?

I'll play with you Karen.  I will do my best to be on the "2" more.  I'm on DSL and the pages should load faster than they do but it is still slower than I like.

Re: Am I here?

THIS IS THE SLOWEST PLACE IN THE WHOLE WORLD>  It is suppose to be so up to date. This is why most people to not post here it is slow.  Why HQ do something about this.

I am on DSL too so I am glad to know that it's not just me that has a problem with things moving slow.

Does not HQ listen or read these posts to hear us.

Re: Am I here?

I believe they'd rather listen to the 121+ RHS members who post at the old board.

That's right... the lowest count in April for posters on the QMB was only 121,
and the highest.. was 145.

Don't know how many post over here, as some only post in their own groups.

I think that RHS only listens to you if you're one of the ones who:
1) attends their conventions
2) orders things from their store
3) participates 100% i.e. spends money

Not if we're just rural red hatters who don't have any money, who just do the
occasional red hatting with our chapters, and participate a lot on the internet.

At least that's the way it seems to me!

I'd rather participate here, where there are REAL friends, rather than the ones who will be nice to you to your face, and then trash you behind your back.
Or, in some cases wink, trash you to your face.

SO HAPPY to BE HERE again!

However......

this site is sooooooooooo sloooooooooooow.

On the other hand..
I can get a lot of housework done while I'm waiting for the pages to load!!

LOL

smile
