Hi everyone,  I have just discovered the Grandparent Group and thought I would share an idea I am going to try soon.  I have two grandchildren, a girl 8 (almost 9 ) and a boy 3.  My granddaughter has asked several times if she can come and spend the nite with me and I have always let her come as well as her brother.  She misses some of the alone time we had before her little brother came along, so I asked her today if she would like to spend 2 or 3 days with me alone.  Her eyes lit up and I thought we could do some of the "older" things we want that we can't do when little brother is around.  Then to make it fair, little brother will come to Grandma Camp for 2 or 3 days without his big sister. (I should tell you that my daughter was excited about this too....lol )  I am lucky because my two beautiful grandchildren live just 3 miles away from me and I can see them as often as I want to.  I can't imagine not being able to...........it would break my heart.
