If you look to the left at the picture of my granddaughter, you see the red dress she has on. I remember the day we bought that dress. She spotted it and ask "where's the bathroom". I thought she had to GO potty. She actually wanted to try on the dress. Since we were actually in the dept store to buy some play clothes, I took the dress with us. I also informed here that we were going to the DRESSING room, not the bathroom.
She tried on the dress and refused to take it off. I had to bribe her to get it off, so she could try on the several other outfits. The deal was, she could put the dress back on afterwards. Which she did and wouldn't take off. As we left the dressing room, several people ask if we were enroute to have pictures made for Christmas. I laughed.
When it came time to check out, I hoisted my granddaughter onto the counter, they SCANNED her. Believe it or not the dress was the least expensive thing we bought that day at $19. I was stunned. The dress will not fit her next Christmas so she wears it often. In fact, she puts it on everytime she wants to have a tea party at my house. I also keep a variety of other dress-ups here too. Sometimes, she wears everything at least once during her visit.
BTW, I stumbled on the hair bows at the GROCERY store, of all places. They were $1.69 and have little jingle bells attached to each strip of fabric. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE asks where I got these bows and I refer them to the supermarket, then their jaw drops in amazement.
I'm always on the lookout for good deals.
