Hi everyone,

As a chapter of one, I enjoy planning and hosting gatherings for my Red Hat friends.  Over the past 2 years I've hosted a few - 2 cruises, pre cruise parties, post cruise parties, Fifth Avenue Collection fashion shows, a passion party (yes, it was fun!), a chocolate tasting party (our official food was fabulous!) and most recently, "A Wedding Party" tea.

Next January, I will host a cruise to the Mixican Riveria with an add on day trip to The Red Hat Store in Fullerton, California, the day before the cruise.  I'm hoping that Sue Ellen will be in town that day and will be able to drop in to greet us.  What a thrill that would be!!!  I had my picture taken with her at Barrels of Fun in Niagara Falls and I'd love to have another picture of the two of us together.  If all goes as planned it should be quite the day.  Details are still being worked on but Ambassador Ann and I have talked and they are expecting 'an invasion of Canadian Red Hatters'.

Yesterday, I hosted "A Wedding Party" tea.  52 Red Hatters came out - many in costumes appropriate for members of a wedding party.  Danny (part of our singing entertainment) was the only man in the group and he was such a good sport.  What a voice!!!

I hope to see many of you out to future gatherings.
