I don't normally like to brag, but today I just find I have to.

This weekend, I received the most beautiful string of fresh water pearls from my "playlike/pretend" daughter, Sara, who is in Japan with her husband. Sara is the daughter I never had, and, if I had a daughter of my own, I would want my daughter to be just like my Sara.

I will always treasure my new pearls - The love they represent is so very precious. I am truly blessed to have my Sara, and her family in my life. She may not be my daughter, but in my heart, she is and always will be mine.

I originally thought blogging would be great fun - A wonderful way to tell about the events I've attended, talk about things that are important to me, let people know how much I care and appreciate them, and to share pictures.  What I had not thought about, I would have to keep it up to stay current.

Now I find myself, as in other areas of my life, behind in blogging too. I am a Procrastinator!  Finally, I've said it out loud!  Like Scarlet in Gone with the Wind, I think, tomorrow is another day. 

But what happens if tomorrow doesn't come?  You wouldn't know about my "pretend daughter", Sara, having a new little baby girl, Lillian Morgan, who was born on Oct 25.  You wouldn't know about Nell's visit, our having lunch with JoAnn and meeting Bonnie. You wouldn't know that I went to Alabama to see my Mom and spend Christmas with my family. You wouldn't know that while I was in Alabama, my nephew got married to a beautiful young lady who has two adorable little girls, or how proud and happy I am for this new little family.  Nor would you know I went to GotRock's chapter's luncheon on Jan. 2 with my newest chapterette, Paula.

Not only would you not know those things, the people mentioned above would not know how much I love them.  They wouldn't know how special I think they are.  They wouldn't know how much I enjoyed the time spent with them.  They wouldn't know they are angels in my life or how thankful I am to be able to call them all, my family.
