    About Me I am a DAV widow for the past 20 yrs. I served in the W.A.C. as a med. & surg. tech. I've worked in Finance & Accounting for the U.S. Army; worked in accounting for General Motore & Corps of Engineers; was an auditor for IRS; worked 17 yrs. as an associate & broker in real estate; was ICU secretary for V.A.Med.Ctr.; worked part-time 3 yrs. for Experience Works.
    Interests My husband & I started doing genealogy research 35 yrs. ago, traveling to various states to court houses & cemeteries. I have written & published 4 family genealogy books with copies at the Morman Library in Salt Lake City & local libraries, and 3 family biographies.
    Hobbies I love to read. Mostly fiction, but some nonfiction. I generally read 10 to 15 books each week. I also love to travel in my own vehicle.
    Music I like all music except rap & hard rock. Prefer country western & light opera.
    Movies Give me the 40s, 50s & 60s film with musical comedies, romance, and happy endings. No violence, bad language or terror.
    TV Not into soaps. I liked the good variety shows we used to get, or the Dean Martin, Dinah Shore type entertainment. I like some of the Reality shows with musical entertainment.
    Books I like novels from Love Inspired publications; also books by Catherine Coulter, Fern Michaels, Jude Devereau, Susan Brown, & Shawna Delacorte among many more.
    Likes I like the colors red & purple(they go so well with my white hair). I like lunches with my friends, visits from family, family reunions, entertainments that make me laugh, making new friends,grilled steak, salads, b-b-ques, fried catfish, & fresh baked bread covered with real butter.
    Dislikes Oysters, shusi, snails, spiders & snakes. Biased people spreding their hate messages.
    Family I have five children, my oldest son died 3 yrs. ago. A daughter in Arkansas, a daughter in Houston, TX., a son in Arkansas married to a Russian lady (so they are visiting in Moscow a few weeks every year), and a son & his wife in Monterey, Mexico on their second year of a 3-yr. missionary commitment as house parents to 8 teenage boys.
