About Me
I've always lead a charmed life, from my precious parents, to a loving husband, and great children and grandchildren; I've been surrounded by supportive family. I had a great career and am now retired. I lived in the most beautiful place on earth--Lake Tahoe for 30 years. Now I live in another paradise, California.
Interests
I have a lot of interests. I am never bored. I love reading and am a member of two book clubs.
Meeting people is important to me. I feel that a person's life story is more interesting than any book. When I enter a room, I look for someone new to meet.
Hobbies
Red Hatting tops the list.
I belong to 2 red hat groups and am the Queen of the Darling Divas.
I collect teapots! I have 75 teapots of all kinds. I also collect tea accessories. I enjoy putting on small tea parties in my home.
I am an artist and oil painting is my favorite medium.
I like to bead with gemstones.
I enjoy paper crafts and making cards.
I'm in the garden club and enjoy learning about flowers.
I do charity work with the Assistance League Sacramento.

I like New Age music. The music of the flute, piano and harp are my favorite.
Of course its always fun to hear the old tunes of the '50's.

I like to smile and laugh, and have a good time.
I like cooking, dining, and all that goes with it: cook books, cooking classes, the Food Network, growing herbs, collecting recipes, shopping in great grocery stores like Trader Joes or Bel Air, entertaining,and dining at all the classy restaurants.
I am almost a Foodie. But I'm not discriminating enough to call myself a Foodie. I like everything.
Dislikes
Hot temperatures over 90 degrees..
Disgruntled or jealous people--life's too short for that.
Vices
Shopping! I love shopping in Sacramento, there are so many bargains!
Chocolate!
Coffee in the morning.
Tea all day and night.
Virtues
I love to have company and beg them to stay a week. If they do, then I am exhausted.
Family
I have a great husband. He likes to fish so he is very understanding about all my intersts.
I'm blessed with the greatest kids, now adults and married with great careers and children. I have 3 grandaughters and one grandson. They think it is fun to see my red hat collection and my pictures of the red hat events.
