As anyone who knows me well, knows what an animal lover I am and I especially love dogs. We have recently learned of two horrific dog stories here that did not end well. The first was a 1 1/2 yr old black lab who was left in a convertible (black top) with all the windows rolled up while his owner went into the mall to see a movie. The dog did not survive even after being taken out of the car by the local animal control authorities. It was too late. And before you think that rolling down the windows would be the way to go you would be dead wrong. It is still too hot within minutes in a car for the animals. The second , a ****u, was left in the car while her owners went in to see a movie. This dog was yanked out of the car through a broken window and slammed into a building by an unknown person caught in the act on a surveillance camera. Apparently he just felt like it. The police are asking for help to identify this individual. The dog is clinging to life but the outlook is not good. I guess the moral of all this is to please, please leave your precious pets at home unless someone will be with them at all times. There are just too many unknowns while you are not there and the pet pays the price.

You know if any one can slam a animal against the wall like that,do not care about any life, human or animals. Me myself have to dogs and a cat. Don't you think if we where going to take in a show or do any long shopping, you would leave your babies at home. These people should not have children, they might leave them in the car too. Queen Mum Darlene, I was appalled when and very saddened when I read your story about the two dogs. It especially struck home with me, since I am owned by a black lab named Sammy. He is the best dog! That makes me sick that anyone would do that to an animal that relies on us for life itself! Some of us have indeed gone to the dogs! I am a dog groomer by profession, and owned a grooming shop in Albuquerque, NM, with a grooming school, and self-wash area. I had to have 3 back surgeries, so had to sell it, then we moved to Nashville. I've just been doing a few out of my home. Thank you to a sister dog-lover! My regular email is muttpuddles@comcast.net. Get it?!? lol Clare |

Hi Darlene, |

Things like that make me so mad I could spit! What's wrong with people? Thanks for the blog to alert others.
