I've posted directions to one of my original designs,
first created 19 years ago (wow!).

    Check out the Forum, under "Creative Crochet" for
the directions for "Heart Basket". It's made to cover
a styrofoam drinking cup... perfect to fill with candies
for that special Red Hat Event!!

  I made them in rose yarn, with red hearts, but I can
just imagine how pretty they'd look, in purple with red hearts!!

Let's start off by telling how long we've been crocheting.. where (and how) we learned, and what our current project is.

I've been crocheting since my son was little... I started out with the grannysquare.. taught myself to crochet from a very good instruction book (with photos... lol).

The first ever project I finished was a baby drool bib... a giant granny square!

Currently, I'm trying to design an oval rug for the bathroom, following a pattern for a doily.. but using heavy rug yarn. Let's just say... it's an experience! I may soon put it aside, to start crocheting valentine pins for my family members.
