Welcome to the official website for the Crafty Foxes, a newly-formed chapter in the San Fernando Valley, California. As queen, I plan to host members and guests at my house once a month to work on a variety of Red Hat-related projects. For example, I intend to have a hat-decorating afternoon, where I will show ladies how to make satin and ribbon roses. We will also learn how to attach a variety of decorative items to hats. With any luck, other ladies will have some experience with this, as well.
We will, of course, have beadfests and cropfests, plus whatever else strikes our fancy. Our outings will involve shopping at specialty stores for beads, feathers and other things we may need for our projects. We will try to get experts in occasionally for specific skills.
Contributing (Purple Perks) membership in the Red Hat Society and an RSVP are required for attendance. Ladies may contribute toward refreshments and supplies either in kind or with cash. A materials list may be given for some projects, and kits or components may be available (at cost) for others.
Online participation is welcome. Please share your projects and expertise, or if you have questions, I'll do my best to try to fix you up with an answer.
