I am running way behind and I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas.  I had an extended family gathering followed by my immediate family Christmas Eve and then vistors for New Year.  We had wonderful weather, which for us means very little wind and we enjoyed clean King Tides in the middle of the day so in between eating we kept the children occupied at the beach.  I also swam every day.  Today is a little overcast and we are heading to the country for a rodeo, again with family.  Coming up for me is a luncheon with the Redbacks a group I love to go out with and hopefully a few of my chapter will join in too.  I have a de sal temporary construction platform nearby which has been closed over the holidays and I am just waiting to see how noisy it is before planning a beach party/luncheon.

A lovely email reminded me its nearly Thanksgiving for all our USA friends. I hope you all have a wonderful day and I am sure just being alive is something to be thankful for.

The weather is unsettled here in Sydney but summer is on its way, flame trees and jacaranda are out and looking so pretty I have just realised they are so "red hat". For those of you who dont know these trees the flame is red and the jacaranda purple and lots in Australia plant them near each other as they flower at around the same time which is now late November. I must look for a good one and take a photo.
