A great time was had by all at our first annual Halloween Party! We had lots of snacks, lots of good conversation, played games, and got to know each other better. We even had a costume contest (Shirley, the "Good WItch", won first place!). Queen Pat Gordy of the Dazzling Divas and her V-Queen Connie joined us, and we were so glad they did--they just mutiplied the FUN! The first pic is of the Bodacious Benton Belles (my chapter--6 out of 8 of us were present), and they are (back row) Becky, Shirley, Brenda, (front row) me (Queen Christy), Ashley, and Kathy. I found this hat at Goodwill today--and it only cost me $4.00!!! I've been looking for a pillbox-style hat for a year now, and they're so expensive online at some of the auction sites. I just COULDN'T RESIST!!! Good find, huh?

Friday Broadcast--My chapter made it!!!

I can't believe it!!! My chapter, the Bodacious Benton Belles, actually made today's Friday Broadcast! They wrote a really nice report about our "Red Hat Night with the Shreveport Sports" hoot, and they posted both pics that I sent! I feel like my chapter has finally ARRIVED!!! WOOHOO!!!
