Those wonderful clowns ~ and beautiful little chirping yellow finches have returned. Though a dusting of snow happened overnight..I was so glad to hang those thistle-filled stockings out for them..in the hopes of seeing them pretty soon.

With full-spring just a few days away ( I know the official day of spring was the 21st)...but our Spring doesn't actually happen until after around the 6th of April ~ when all possibility of frost dissipates until cold sets in come January, 2009!!

I peeked out the kitchen window and saw ~ wonderment ~ finches on the feeders ~ about 6 of them!! One of them was a male ~ the rest all females!!

Wonderful little creatures...and a real blessing.

Though robins have returned here over a week ago...the mornings are beginning to sound wonderful with birds and their morning chatter!!

Bravo to spring!!
