North Alabama State Fair is in a couple weeks....located in my 'back door' so to speak(just about 1/2 mile up the road from where I live in Muscle Shoals, AL).

I'm planning an outing with my chapter, Classy  BamaBelles, on our regular get together day for the month, Saturday, 20th September and looking forward to some fun~!

It will be exciting to 'strut'  the fairgrounds wearing our RHS colors (with our red/pink hat(s) of course~!

AND fun to eat the yummies that they may have for sale there...

AND to see the competition exhibits....

AND even to ride some of the rides....We can purchase an armband and ride all the rides we would like ~!

I sound like a kid..huh?    Hee-Hee ~!......"Young at heart"... Just hope that this body will keep up with my 'dreams'  for the day ~!  

See ya at the fair at 12pm (until ????) on Saturday, 20th September~!   You can even come earlier if you like.....and stay as long as you want(until the gates close if you like)~!

After I posted the tulips photo in blog below it turned very cold..some nights down below freezing...Have had lots of 'beating' rain and one day we got sleet.

Amazingly my (Daddy's) tulips have survived..and more have bloomed..
It is now Spring like weather again..very pretty...I really enjoyed the weather today..and am enjoying the tulips..

Red Hat Hugs~!

In March I shared about the daffodils that I enjoyed in my front yard.

Today I was blessed again with a beautiful memory of my father..........Tulips. In a few days I hope to see more of the blooms opened as these.

I luv attending Red Hat chapter sponsored events..always have sooooo much fun.

This past Wednesday was no different when I joined about 250 other Red Hat Society members for the Spring Fling with Bling in Athens,Alabama.

It was a pleasure to meet up with four other Queen Mother Board posters. Left to right: Sandi, Janine, Sharon,Marlene and me.

The gentleman in the photo with us is a very entertaining impressionist as Elvis.

He also 'is' "Louie Armstrong"

"Sonny & Cher"

"Buddy Holly"

and others.

Another entertainer did a tribute to Johnny Cash...almost like hearing Johnny Cash sing.

We laughed & laughed at the "Fractured FairyTales".

"Stop in the Name of Love" and some other songs sung by some Red Hatters in disquise.

Patsy Kline appeared not once but twice ~!

It is a privilege to have my daughter, BamaPrincess and one of my high school friends, Lady LucyLocket to attend RHS events with me.

Now, let's not forget the nourishment.....We had a delicious buffet luncheon.

OOkayyyyyyy... When is the next event ? I'm ready ~!
